The term “e-waste” is applied to consumer electronic equipment that is broken, obsolete or otherwise no longer wanted. E-waste can include computers, printers, televisions, VCRs, cell phones, fax machines, stereos and electronics. These electronic devices may contain lead, copper, and other heavy metals or potentially toxic substances.
In many parts of the county, you are no longer allowed to dispose of electronics with regular garbage. If you have functioning electronics, the best option is to donate them to your local charity therefore prolonging their useful life. Send us your nonfunctioning or obsolete equipment and we will recycle them.
